Les stages et The Moose

Today was unfortunately not filled with Parisian fun.  I spent the ENTIRE day putting the finishing touches on my resume and applying to internships.  I applied to 8, which doesn’t sound like it should take a lot of time, but writing cover letters for each one is no easy task.  I actually already got a response back from a real estate investment trust company, and they want to schedule an interview.  They’re located in Newton, which is right by BC, but the only problem is that I don’t know if I can actually afford to live in Boston by myself this summer…so I guess that’s good, less pressure for the interview!

Chrissy came over, and she was feeling pretty bummed about everything too.  Between that and the fact that we both were missing Ireland, we decided to meander down the street to my local Canadian (and favorite) pub, the Moose, to have a pint of Bulmer’s at happy hour.  It was a fantastic.

I truly wish I had more to blog about, but that is all my day consisted of.  And I was going to add a cute picture of Paris from Google, but unfortunately all that came up when I typed “cute Paris” were pictures of Paris Hilton.  Seriously, Google?

Spread the love.

Hey guys, I'm Katie! Welcome to my blog, where I ramble on about anything and everything. I'm 22 years old, a soon-to-be graduate of Boston College, pursuing a degree in International Studies and a minor in French. I spent last spring studying abroad at Sciences Po in Paris, so most of my entries and extra content consist of stories and photos of my cultural experiences, my passionate love affair with French food, my close encounters of the third wine, and my ramblings about crazy French people. I love photography, traveling, reading, and cooking. I love all kinds of music; check out what I'm listening to at last.fm. I also enjoy a good tweet now and again. Check out some more random facts about me, if you're so inclined...
