Death Cab for Cutie
Sooooo it’s kind of November and I haven’t written anything since August. I guess I’ve been kind of busy ever since with school, volleyball, college apps and just life in general. So I don’t really plan on updating writing anything else anytime soon…unless Calc decides to get easy for the rest of the year but somehow I doubt that’ll happen. But anyways, while I’m here I may as well talk about the Death Cab for Cutie concert I went to last night with Jules, Ange, Doug and Julie’s sister and her boyfriend. It was a kickass show in the theatre at MSG…the theatre is really nice because it’s small and more personal than the main arena. The concert was really different from the Dave Matthews ones I’m used to…no rambling drunks or smelly potheads; only music lovers. Which was quite nice, actually. I was surprised, Death Cab attracted such a ridiculously wide crowd; I saw people ranging from 15-45. Ted Leo and the Pharmacists opened for them and they were pretty good. But yeah, Death Cab was AMAZING! I loved them before I went, but now I love them even more. The lead singer, Ben, is such a funky dancer haha even on slow songs, when he’s playing guitar, piano, drums, or all three at once (not really but he plays so many instruments gah), he rocks violently like its a fast song. But it’s okay because I like it. I’m going to see Dashboard and Brand New in December, so I’m pretty pumped for that too.
I added a buttload of pictures today…some whacky wrestling pics from Doug’s House, some shots from the 6 on 6 tourney, some pics from the football game when I decided to venture out from behind the snack stand, some pictures from Halloween with my friends and their whacky (but awesome) costumes, Ange’s costume party, just a plain old night at Ange’s house, and two of the latest Diner excursions with the visiting college kiddies. It’s been a busy few weeks! Aaaanyways, enjoy the pics, let me know what you think and yeah. Toodaloooo!
